Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature.
Being spiritual means believing there is more to life than what meets our physical eyes. When we are going through a spiritual awakening, a lot of things start making sense to us, especially the pain we suffered and the lessons we learned.
With this realisation, comes spiritual healing which elevates us from the misery created by our ego. In this journey to our higher self, we often discover our spiritual gifts that were present all along within our subconscious.
I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky.
